======= Licensing ======

The official word on Adobe Single User licenses.

==== General Information ====

  - $76/year for one product. $177/year for two or more products.
  - The subscription always ends September 27, no matter when the subscription starts.
  - After processing the order, an email invitation will be sent to you. You should accept the invitation from a computer that you will install Adobe on. 
  - You will be prompted to log in with an Adobe ID and password or create one if you do not already have one.  After logging in, you can begin the installation.
  - Renewal notices go out at the beginning of Sept.
  - If unrenewed, the software can be used until Sept. 27, 2026.
  - You are allowed to install on 2 machines.

==== Faculty/Staff ====

  - If you wish to renew/purchase a license, log in at https://uchicagosoftwarelicensing.onthehub.com/
  - If you are purchasing a license for the first time, email Tech Staff and include the account you want to charge and which software you would like. 

==== Students ====

  - Contact your advisor to see if they will sponsor your Adobe account.
  - Include the end-user name, UChicago email address, and Adobe product in an email to Tech Staff.
  - The 65$/year deal mentioned below does not apply to students seeking the software for research 

==== Coursework ====

  - There is a $65/year deal for students needing an Adobe account for coursework.
  - Please CC the professor and note which course you are taking. 
  - This type of account cannot be purchased for only research.
