To that end, an alum may access the server via ssh to ''alumni.cs.uchicago.edu'' in the same manner that CS department systems were previously accessed, as in the following example.

+The ''alumni'' system is directly connected to the Internet and so no jump server connectivity or VPN is required to access it.
