Conda is installed by default and you should be able to use it without doing anything.
If it does not work for you automatically all you need to do is source the right file.
$ source /opt/conda/etc/profile.d/conda.sh
You can then add the above source
line to your shells configurations files. E.g. .bash_profile

Make the file executable.
$ chmod +x Anaconda3-5.0.1-Linux-x86_64.sh ...
$ ./Anaconda3-5.0.1-Linux-x86_64.sh Do you accept the license terms? Assuming I have my .bashrc and .bash_profile/.profile setup right I can do the following:
$ which conda /home/USERNAME/.local/anaconda3/bin/conda
